"Playing With Fire"

This second image of my nephew was taken during Hari Raya celebration as he was playing wth fire crackers outside my house. I took lots of shot of him and I choose this because of the lighting from the fire and also from my flash to create the soft orange color reflected on his face. Also the dark background makes the subject as the focal point of the image and even with the strong light from the fire. In addition to that, the expression on his face as if he was thinking of something as he looks at the fire create a sense of calm emotion and peace. The setting of my camera when I took this shot was iso 400 and f/5.

"Another Ride?"

This week theme of portrait photography i decided to use my nephew as my model and took many shoots of him. This first image was taken when he was playing in a model car and I choose this simply because of his natural expression while looking on at the camera. Also the lighting was from the shopping complex with addition of my flash has reflection on the car. The settings for this image was iso 800 and f/5.3.
