Karaoke Maut???? hehehe

I have watched one Malay TV infotainment program - some sort of a quiz on Astro called ‘Kelab Pop' (Pop Club). There is this segment in every episode in the show named ‘Karaoke Maut', implying that karaoke could kill. But do you think karaoke could kill? Yes, indeed, it actually can.

But I am confused about the law here on entertainment during wedding ceremonies like the berbedak where they will usually line up entertainment like noisy gambus or crazy band performance or tuneless karaoke throughout the night. Some considerate and usually stop around 12 o'clock and I learn that we need permission for such small scale entertainment from the nearby police headquarters and the Ministry of Home Affairs for big concerts or gig.

If that is really the case could someone please explain how is it that some people are allowed to do karaoke until 3 or even 4 o'clock in the morning? read more here
