Bandar Seri Begawan - Over 2,000 cities in 83 countries around the world have pledged to vote Earth in their support of Earth Hour 2009 exceeding the expected target.
Cities including Amman, Bangkok, Beijing, Buenos Aires, Copenhagen, New Delhi, Hong Kong, Istanbul, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, London, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Manila, Moscow, New York, Paris, Rome, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Suva and Warsaw have committed themselves to switching off their lights between 8.30pm and 9.30pm local time this Saturday.
