A need for help??? :)

I friend of mine called me for help as he is studying at one of the islamic institution here in Brunei. he asked me to write a composition for his coursework I think and so I do a little research and try to compose a simple composition for him. Need you guys to help me also by checking my grammar or sentence struccture and other English stuff hehehe I am not that good at ENGLISH but I just try.

Travelling by sea is safer than by air
All people travels from one place to another and they used different types of transport in their travelling according to their needs, budget and reasons. There are three main types of transportation for travelling and that is air transport, sea transport and land transport.
For years that people had travelled, I’m always using air transport more often than boats. This is because of the long journey of the place I travelled to and the cheaper costs. Yet, I believe that sea transport are more safer than air transport. If a sea transport such as ship catches a fire, or its engine get trouble, there is still ample time to move to a safer area, or jump to a life boat and bail out before the boat sinks. Because the time taken for a ship to sink is slower than the time taken for an air plane to crashed.
Although in an airplane, they will instruct you how to strapped urself inside using the safety belts, show you how to use the life vest, or how you breathe through the oxygen masks. But is there any airlines that teaches us how to use a parachute? Do you think planes are safer than boats?
In ships all the main skill you have to acquired is being able to swim but still the lifeboats are available for those who can’t swim. In airplanes, you have to use a parachutes if disaster do happens and although if you lucky the plane landed at sea, the only option available is to swim and maybe a life raft is available but still I think sea travel is safer than air travel.
As a conclusion, all the journeys we have or will taken in the future will make us choose from the three main ways of transportation and although accidents will happen we are the one to decide which means of transport to choose. The factors for choosing are the safety, the costs and the time taken to reach your destination. If your main priority for travelling is safety and you might as well choose sea transport.

Travelling by sea requires one main skill, that is by being able to swim but still the lifeboats are available for those who can’t swim. On airplanes, you have to use a parachutes if disaster occurs and even if you lucky the plane landed at sea upon a crash, the only option available is to swim and maybe a life raft is available but still, I think sea travel is safer than air travel.

In conclusion, all the journeys we will take in the future will make us choose between the three main ways of transportation and although accidents will happen we are the one to decide which means of transport to choose. The factors for choosing are the safety, the costs and the time taken to reach your destination. If your main priority for travelling is safety and you might as well choose sea transport unless it takes months to get to your destination.
